Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium
About the Symposium
The Undergraduate Research Students' Association works in concert with the Office of Undergraduate Research to organize the Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium. The Symposium is a celebration of undergraduate research that seeks to affirm and support undergraduates' valuable contributions to research and knowledge in all disciplines, whether they work independently or with faculty members.
The Symposium offers students the opportunity to present their research in an oral presentation or a similar form, as the case may be for some research and creative projects. Each presentation is short -- every student is given a total of 15 minutes to present and answer questions. Students from all majors and disciplines are encouraged to present their research.
The Symposium is open to the public to attend and includes lunch and a keynote speaker, in addition to the student presentations.
The 8th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium was held on Saturday, April 1st, 2017, at the campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
The Undergraduate Research Symposium is made possible by the Office of Undergraduate Research.
